The RapidTag LP5XL is the flagship of the XL range: five colors in a single pass on the large-format platform, with printing and curing on-board. Run an under-base plus four colors on dark garments without a second pass, at up to 800 shirts per hour.
The five-color flagship of the XL range
Five colors, four heads, so you run the job twice: every shop that has done it knows the cost. Double the handling, a second registration, and a reject rate that climbs on the second pass. The LP5XL prints five colors in a single pass, so the job is printed, cured and boxed in one handling.
On dark garments the under-base is not an optional color, it is the first one. A five-color machine means an under-base plus four colors in the same pass, so the art gets printed as it was designed instead of being simplified to fit the equipment.
Throughput runs up to 800 shirts per hour. Actual output depends on the operator, garment, ink, artwork, curing requirements and production setup.
The XL platform is available in three print-and-cure configurations: 12″ x 12″, 14″ x 16″, or 16″ x 18″. Choose the configuration that fits your artwork, garment sizes and production requirements when you order.
Same platform, one more head
The LP5XL is built on the same large-format platform as the LP4XL, with the same .001″ print accuracy, the same controls and the same two-year parts warranty. If you can set up a job on any RapidTag, you can set one up on this machine. It runs on 220V single phase and shop air, in roughly a 7.5 foot circle, so the install is an electrician and an air line, not a facilities project.

One pass, one registration, one handling
Because printing and curing happen on the machine, a five-color job finishes in a single sequence. No separate curing device to buy, no conveyor dryer to find room for, and no second pass that doubles the handling on every piece.
Squeegee Angle
Adjust your squeegee angle and control your squeegee flexing accordingly to print on all different types of substrates with a variety of different inks.
Motion Sensor
Also known as the "parts present sensor", it detects your product and tells the machine to print on the given pallet. If there is no product present on the pallet then the RapidTag will NOT print.
Pneumatic Screen Lock
The automatic screen airlocks allow the user to quickly and securely fasten the screens in place.
Hoodie Arms
The hoodie arms come in handy when you have a hoodie job to do. Easily place the hood of the hoodie in the cavity in order to not disturb the rest of the machine during production.
