Nowadays, the use of the latest technology makes clothing industries to think of something new on their labels. Labels or tags are important to any clothing industry for them to be recognized in the market. It is the trading symbol of a certain brand. It is also a requirement for the clothing industry to provide their own tags for their brand because they are obliged to pay for the taxes. Clothing brands may choose if they want tag-less labels or hang tags. The traditional way to put brands on a certain cloth is through the use of hang tags. However, the clothing industry switched to tag-less labels instead of hang tags. But why clothing industries consider tag-less labels instead of hang tags?

Enter the tag-less, screen printed label. Originally started on soft t-shirts and cotton knits, it is now finding its way onto denim, leather, and even delicate fabrics. It is a win-win situation. The consumer has nothing to irritate him, and the clothing manufacturer has a permanent brand on the clothing, so when that article gets old, they are reminded of who made it and go buy another! The main advantages of tag-less labels are:

•Preferable by customer, which may boost sales!
•Comfortable, with no itchiness, scratchiness and or annoying tickling.
•Shortens manufacturer lead times, with less sewing steps.
•Reduces inventory and need for label stock.
•Flexible printing options, can do timely or Holiday messaging, promotions.
•Shortened production runs, as the pieces per hour rate is much faster.
•High resolution printing as small as 4 pt., and can have nice graphics too.
•Lasts for the life of the garment, resulting in buying another similar product in future.
•Does not cause damage to the fabric, both at creation and what the customer may do.
•Savings in label costs, no supplies to buy.

When a customer asks you to do a sleeve or tagless print, they are essentially asking you for another operation. Which is great because this results in a little bit more money, but if you do not have the right equipment for this small operation(s) then you most likely will not see any money to be made. As we all know, printing small images on a large automatic press does not make much sense especially when you constantly have to change out the pallets for each job. Leave it to the RapidTag to do all your small decoration and make production easier.
